I am still having issues with installing the 4.5 starter kit. When the Visual Studio Content Installer gets to the content installation, it errors saying that it cannot find the zip files. (i.e.The item DotNetNuke.zip could not be copied because it was not found.). Yet the DotNetNuke.zip file is in the same directory as the installer file. I am using Visual Web Developer.  Is there something wrong with the starter kit or is it something else?  Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Double check the permissions on the directory that the file is located in and also on the file itself.  Please post the findings here.

Thank you for replying to my issue. I am logged into my desktop which is running Windows XP. I am logged into myself which has administrator access. The directory that I have created is C\DotNetNuke. My ID has full read/write/execute access to this directory. I downloaded the 4.5.1 starter kit into this directory. When I look at the security properties of the DotNetNuke_4.5.01_StarterKit directory it also shows that my ID has full read/write/execute access to this directory.  When I right click on the Zip files, to look at their attributes, the first one DotNet Nuke has the attributes greyed out and none are checked( Read-only,Hidden,System). The other 4 zip files all have the read-only attribute checked. Do you think that this is the problem? Thanks again in advance for the help.

The files in the starter kit are:

DotNetNuke.vscontent.vsi

DotNetNuke.zip

Module_Compiled_VB.zip

Module_CS.zip

Module_VB.zip

skin.zip
