Hi,

Just had the same result happen to me :-O. I was NOT deleting a module though. I was trying to edit a ListX module - clicked the module drop-down, selecte View Option (allows me to edit) and was tolde 'you don't have the rights to edit this module. After that - all modules (on the portal) now do NOT display an edit drop-down button for this login.

My Host account is now locked out of my portal. I can see contet, but have no edit rights. I DO have edit rights to the admin and host menu entries however :-O - so its a portal-wide issue.

Using 4.5.0 - then upgraded to 4.5.1 AFTER the bug happened.

Looks like a bug to me - something got reset for my host accout on this portal ???. NB Also only one portal - as its my development site.

I just added a new host account and this one now allows me FULL access to the portal. The old (original superuser) account is still locked out of my portal. I'll leave it this way in case anyone (support maybe ??) wants me to take a look at tables etc. to see what setting got inadvertantly changed.....

Thanks

Regards

Graham

Same problem here.  I was updating a tab while logged in as host. The page timeout. When I went back to the site and logged in as host, I couldn't view content in *any* of my modules. My admin account and test user account have all the appropriate view/edit permissions.

Help!

In my case I found and corrected my issue. The "Toggle Design View" in the control panel while logged in as host caused my problem.

Oh vey!

Hey !!

Thanks for that - fixed mine too :-)).

Just had my second host account locked out - but click on 'Edit' (top left of page) and it came back again.....

Must be some little bug which turns this off without being asked....

This time I was simply trying out XMod.

Thanks for your post ;-)).

Thanks for posting how to resolve this issue!!!  We were about ready to roll back to DNN 4.4.1 if we couldn't find an answer soon!
