Upgraded from 4.4 to 4.5. The upgrade appeared to go fine however when I went to browse to my site all I get is a white screen that connects endlessly. Got tired of waiting and went to check my IIS log and the thing is like 12 MB when I normally have less then 100 kb

Looked inside and it's just 12 mb of a get requests that say.

GET /DNN/Default.aspx alias=www.xsourcecode.org/DNN

it almost looks like the page is trying to navigate to the alias however the alias is the same as the url as it started at resuling in the app thrashing in a loop trying to reach it's inner child and never getting there. Any Ideas?

did you correctly transfer the connection string and encryption keys in web.config?

did you try to restart the server?

I also am having problems after the upgrade.  About 1/2 the modules are receiving the following error:  I know the connection string is valid because I was able to login into the site as Host and other modules (like the text module are working)

Oops... My Bad... There are 2 connections strings in the web.config file.  I knew that but only changed the first one.  All is well.
