Hello people

I am very new to this and I have a small task of creating DotNetNuke on a testing environment.

Installation of DNN 4.5.1 in SQL 2005 Enterprise and IIS6.0 (64bit)

I was fiddling around but to no avail.

Seems that I can only use SQL express and IIS 6.0 (32bit) to do the job.

Perhaps any pointers from any kind souls here?

Thanks!

See the link below for some help on this issue.

http://www.textcontrolblog.com/archive/2006/08/21/32-bit-server-applications-on-64-bit-machines.htm

At one time I had DNN runnign on XP64-bit with SQL 2005 64-bit and this got my site up an running.

Hi

I can't get DNN to work on x64 environment.

What is the substitute for /sqlexpress?

Thanks

I think you have to have a full version of SQL 2005 (664-bit version). SQL Express 2005 does not support 64-bit.
