I have started to maintain a regional website developed by the national charitable organisation using DNN 4.3.
Because numeric dates must be displayed as ddmmyyyy I must use English (United Kingdom) , [en-GB]. I have added en-GB in Host, Languages. When I logout of the Superuser account back to the 'live' account the date format is ddmmyyy Ok BUT
The site will only ever be used in the United Kingdom with en-GB, never ever with en-US so; how can I hide that drop-down menu at the right-hand end of the main menu bar?
This drop-down menu is going to confuse my minimally computer literate users and worse still could lead to their missing events in the Events module.
(Is there a way that the 'live' DNN could default to the users' browser language; ignoring Hosts, Languages?)

Edit the Skin and remove the language usercontrol from the skin, that should remove it from the pages.

I know; it was the obvious thing to do but I DNN would not allow me to delete or disable the default language en-US.
When I log in as Superuser the drop- down menu reverts to English (United States). If I then opt for English (United Kingdom) and try to edit anything I get "A critical error has occurred...."
