I've just now tried it all over again from scratch and the same error is always there when I enter the module settings page.

This happened with the 302 module and continues to happen with the beta.
Soon as I go into the settings IE reports the error: Expected';' at line 1858, Char 40, which is this case is this line:

dnn_ctr1159_ModuleSettings_valCacheTime.evaluationfunction = "CompareValidatorEvaluateIsValid";

Has anyone experienced this one?

Rob

Edit-----------
Now I've also done it on a fresh install using the the DNN Blue skin and compression disabled just in case there was some issue with all that, but the same error still occurs.

Alan:

I upgraded to DNN 4.5.1 and also have a fresh new install of DNN 4.5.1 and I am experiencing the same errors as with DNN 4.5.0 when using the events module 03.03.08.

When enrolling for an event I receive this error:

An error has occurred.
Error: Event Detail is currently unavailable.

This error seems to appear when enabling 'Event Detail New Page' on the master Event module settings (which doesn't open the event detail in a new page).

Upon disabling 'Event Detail New Page' and trying to enroll, I click the enroll link and get redirected back to the Event module, but in fact I do not get enrolled in the event.

I'm also getting the same error that robax has described above.  It seems that when you added the 'Enable Event Detail In New Page' option that it broke the enrollment code because in your earlier modules (pre 03.03.07) the enrollment worked just fine.  Thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this module.

Hi,

I installed the beta version with no errors. I left everything at default settings apart from enabling people to enrol.
When anyone clicks on the enrol link or the notify link they get returned back to calendar view without being enrolled or notified.

As an aside, on the current 07 version the email notification and the times in the email are an hour after the actual event times. I'm set to UTC 0:00 London but we are currently in daylight saving time here. Event says 3pm, I set reminder to 15 minutes before, email arrives an hour late telling me the event starts at 4pm!

Regards,

Simon

Ok...we've heard the negative...has anyone (other than me) loaded the module and not had an issue?

Guys, please turn of caching on the module instance...TURN ON Friendly URLs on the Hosting Panel!!!  Also, make sure you have cookies enabled on the browser...try it w/IE 6.0 or above with the default settings.

Alan:

I have done exactly as you described..caching for the module instance was disabled by default and Friendly URL's were enabled by default, yet the same problem is occuring.  Also, 'databasic' above is experiencing the same problem.

User clicks event on calendar > goes to calendar details > clicks enroll for this event > prompt is given to enroll for event > goes back to calendar view > checks enrollments and states that 'No Events/Enrollments' found.

I have checked the EventsSignups tables and it is completely empty.  It seems that the EventsSignupsSave stored procedure is not being trigged when the user clicks "OK" on the event enrollment prompt.

I have used IE 6, IE 7, FF, DNN 4.4.1, DNN 4.5.0, DNN 4.5.1, and the same problem occurred on every single platform.
