I've got a site that I would like to add and editor role to. I've added the role and assigned a user to the role. I've also added no-container containers to the text/html modules that I want to allow editing. I've then given edit rights to the role in those modules.

The problem is that when I log in as the editor the edit menu does not appear in the action menu. Help and Online Help do appear.

If I change the cache setting to 0 then the edit menu appears.

having the cache set to 0 does not appeal to me at all. The site is fairly static and is ideal for caching.

Is this a bug or is there an work around for the problem?

Thanks

John
