I want to be able to change the appearance of the file selection option in UrlControl to resemble the FileManager view (tree-view with nodes, expand each folder and display the contents).

The current setup of UrlControl does not handle too well if the folder and file size is large. I want a folder and file viewer that isn't going to timeout.

Can someone please help me to solve this?

you will need to write your own url control and replace it, recompiling the core, as there is no provider model used for the URL control.

Is there anything on the horizon from the core development team to accomodate huge websites and file management?
