I'm suddenly not able to remove View Folder permissions from two roles in the Admin File Manager.  One of the roles is a custom one that I made, the other is the All Users role.  This is affecting all folders.  I have an identical server setup with identical file system permissions that does not have the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
Jeff

It appears that once permissions are assigned to the Portal Root, they propogate to all subfolders and cannot be removed (from the root or subfolders).  Also, working in the File Manager has been incredibly slow since this started.

Can anyone offer any insight into this?

In case anyone else runs into the same problem, the only way I found to fix this was to delete the entire contents of the FolderPermission table.

There were duplicate entries in the table, which I've read about elsewhere, but removing the dupes did not solve the problem, nor did rebuilding the table with only unique entries.  After clearing the table, the duplicate entries have not returned.
