Hi all,

I have a couple of question regarding the Login page.

1) I would like to change the Login and Register buttons to be Image Buttons instead of normal buttons so that i can use a gradient button design with custom fonts on the images. Is this possible in DNN?

2) How can i get rid off those blue question mark icons (Help icons) on the Login page?

3) When i click the Login link, the Login screen takes over my home page content and breaks the design. I have tried creating a seperate Login page, but if i do that then i lose the Logout text that automatically replaces the Login text when a user is signed in and instead i get a seperate You are Logged In As page. Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

1) the Skins served for these pages are the Admin Skin types you are using. If you can do an admin skin with the design you like that could also serve you to reach admin and host pages then that is fine. You can however put the log in in any page you like and send people to that page.

2)Humm - I dont think there is any way to do this

3) I dont follow this one, if your seperate login page also has the login skin token then they should be able to logout.. You are loged in as is the register skin token and must be missing from your skin

2)  Well, there is a way to remove the question marks, but you have a choice of either rewriting the login page or replacing the blue question mark graphic with one of your choice.  Of course that changes the blue question mark throughout your site.

3)  I think if you use the standard login page and the Admin skin you'll get what you want.  Even with a custom login page you should still have the login/logout text, assuming you're using the login control correctly.  Does you skin have the LOGIN token in it?  Are you using the DNN login on your custom page?  I would think if the Login text shows, at the least you should still have Login showing if Logout doesn't.

Thanks for the tips.

I was able to remove the question marks on that page only, i'm still not sure if we are going to keep them on other pages though...if not then i might just use a transparent 1x1 pixel and replace help.gif with the transparent one.

Regarding the LOGIN token, thanks, it is working OK now.

Btw: Is there a way to replace the Users Login name (at the moment it shows First name when a users is logged in) with a generic MY ACCOUNT text instead?
