I upgraded from 4.3.x to 4.5.1 but got one "unsuccessful" during the process and the note was to look at a log.  Where are the logs?  The site did come up but I can't login with the host or admin (only 2 that exists) and I assume the log will help me understand why.  So, any ideas what happened or where to find the logs?

Look in this folder: /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider for files with .log extention.

Thanks, I did find it, but the log wasn't much help.  Actually, the log wasn't any help.   There seems to be a bigger issue with the upgrade.

I found the problem.  It was the machinekey in the web.config file.  That value is used to decipher the passwords that had been created and stored in the db.  A different machinekey will not yield the correct deciphered password.

Have you forgot to copy the machine key before you updated?
