How can I create parent portal when the DNN is NOT downloaded on the root directory? Should I follow the same procedure as if DNN is on the root? Can anyone please list the steps of creating parent portal or child portal when the DNN is NOT on root directory?

Thanks for your anticipated response.

I am also unable to install parent and child portals in the DNN installation on GoDaddy. Please, if there is anyone who is familiar with this problem, please do respond.

It seems to me that if a hosting provider is causing you so much pain, why not dump them and go some one else.  There are lots of good DNN providers out there but keep in mind you get what you pay for.
