Hi,

i've already created a repository module before i changed the server name and edited in the web.config

so after i've changed the server name. the repository module couldnt load the files which i uploaded b4 and the following message appeared:

"A critical error has occurred.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"

everything is working fine before the server name changed. any one has any idea what went wrong?

Thanks for your help!

The Repository isn't going to have anything to do with the server connection itself. Did you update your web.config to point to the new server name and have you tested the user credentials outside of DNN?
