Shouldn't be a problem unless you have them overlapping in some way

So I went and renamed the web.config file from my 4.3.7 installation, and retried the 4.5.1 install. And it seemed to work as it should.

Unfortunately, after I got 4.5.1 up and running, I went back to rename the web.config file in 4.3.7 back to "web.config" and my 4.5.1 install starting returning errors. I decided to delete my 4.3.7 install (as far as 4.5.1 is concerned, anyway) and everything seems to be working fine now.

I have no idea why 4.5.1 was trying to use the web.config file from another installation (I also have 4.4.1 installed, whose web.config file it didn't seem interested in, for whatever reason).

Mystery not solved, but it seems to be working for now.

Thanks very much for the prompt replies, Chris. You made my umpteenth DNN Installation Nightmare a little less scary.

We had the same problem:

Could not load file or assembly 'FreeTextBox' or one of its dependencies

We copied the freetextbox.dll into the DNN bin directory and it fixed the problem.
