Hi, i'm using DNN 4.5.1, currently developing a simple module, and i seem to have stuck on a thing i can't figure out....

I'm using multiple ascx controls in my module, and am switching between them with the MultiView control, i had some troubles raising any kind of button events, but then i found a little tip on the forums here about setting the module cache time to 0. My basic buttons work like a charm, but buttons i have inside a DataList  header and item temple still ain't raising any events. I tried setting up and changing almost every setting that i stumbled to, but still cant fix it :(

Please help!! and thx in advance

Try to use you controls outside DNN on a traditional ASP.Form to check if it works :-)

I believe the list controls have some kind of itemCommand event you can use that raises the events.   Or you may be able override te databind and add handlers yourself.

Google DataList ItemCommand - you'll find the answer.
