Usually I just install a module and try it out, but, this time I'm gonna' ask first .

Can you use a SQL query as the XML source for this module?  I have some  forms that are being filled out on another system and the results are/can be stored in the DNN database. The data is one field in a record with a unique transactional ID in another field.  Can I use a SQL query to get the XML data and then process it?

If I can't do it with this module, do you know of another that supports this method?

Thanks!

SQL support is on the roadmap and currently under development, but currently not present inside the actual XML module release.
Reports module querys the local DotNetNuke database and is able to render the retrieved data using XSL, but it doesn't support dynamic parameters.

Stefan,

Thanks for the reply... I need to solve this sooner rather than later. Maybe I can think of some way to get XMOD to do this for me... It uses XML as a storage method, but, it may not be flexable enough to handle the varying XML fields that will be stored.

Again thanks and keep up the great work.
