I am sorry to see this thread has been dead for some time. I have the same issue - allthough its a permanent problem. It is a major annoyance because many modules and many admin pages use postback. For instance, changing the skin of a site is now a total pain, because without the postback the skin selector page is useless.

I did ´not have this problem 2-3 hours ago when I was still on DNN 4.4.1. The problem ocurred after upgrading to DNN 4.5.1. Restarting the DNN application, clearing cache, and restaring IIS has not helped.

I am using Snapsis PageBlaster for DNN, and have tried to disable it completely (and restarting DN+IIS). It does not solve the problem, so I don't think PageBlaster is the cause of the problem.

Any input would be welcome.

brgds

I don't know what solved the problem, but after resetting/rechecking all my configuration files and rebooting the server the problem is now gone.

The problem listed above is due to a long running SQL Server process.  YOU might want to connect to your server and monitor the requests coming in to see if you can pinpoint the rogue process.

A good place to start is the search indexer.....

Nope, can't say that i have any processes that are running for that long. I ran SQL Profiler and monitored for long running processes using the TSQL_Duration template, and everything seemed fine. Any other suggestions ? And most importantly, has anyone else encountered this issue ?
