Hi,
I installed the Events 03.03.07 Events Module. But under App_Code I don't see any events folder. I tried adding the following files manually: SqlDataProvider.vb, DataProvider.vb, EventInfo.vb, EventController.vb and EventBase.vb and modified the web.config file. But I get an error "BC30560: 'DataProvider' is ambiguous in the namespace 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.Data'."
I am a newbie and still learning DNN. Pleae let me know if there's any fix.

I'd bet the events module is actually still compiled in Visual Studio 2003 (i haven't looked), so it won't be using an App_code folder, you'll find the DLLs in the BIN folder, already compiled. If you want to modify the source you'll probably have to do so with VS 2003, not with VS 2005, if that's what you're trying to do.

Exactly Chris...this was a reqiuirement from my project sponsor, Erik.  That we get an updated, fixed version out the door that supported DNN 3 and 4....therefore, VS 2003.  Hopefully we will get the last few issues resolved and migrate to .NET 2.0.  However, we are still looking at doing a compiled version instead of a WAP.

Didn't mean any offense by that. I understand there are still people using .Net 1.1 and DNN3. I just choose not to :)

No prob...I really, really want to get on with some of the cool new features in .NET 2.0 (and 3.0).  However, I guess there are still some in the community that still want DNN 3 support.  As soon as I get this version cleaned up...we're movin' on.  What are your thoughts on WSP vs. WAP for complex modules?  I'm interested in hearing opinions...
