Hi,

What's the current situation with the solpartmenu and XHTML support?  Currently the menu does not render correctly in Firefox but works fine in IE.  I'm using a DNN 3.X build of the solpart menu from source.  What's required to fix the solpartmenu to make it compliant?

Many thanks,

Lee.

If you want a XHTML compliant menu it would be better to use a CSS base menu component like HouseMenu

I'd like to stick with the Solpartmenu if possible as the source that I have has been slightly modified.  Does anybody know what's required to make the Solpart menu compliant?  Lowvercase tags, all tags closed, etc?

Many thanks.

If you could provide me a URL to your site and explain what the problem is in the FireFox viewing I probably could help.
With regards to XHTML compliance of Solpart, I am not planning on enhancing the SolpartMenu much more.  Instead I plan on focusing on the DNNMenu.  This blog covers my reasons.

Jon,

Try this URL http://leespring.dnsalias.org/LASPortal I've setup a temporary dns.  Basically the menu renders fine in IE but firefox does not render any of the sub-menus.  Also it looks like the style is missing.

Many thanks.
