Hi dear forum readers,

I need some help. I have a DNN website: http://www.vitaminbutiken.se  (it is in Swedish).  Although it has been around for almost 8 months it still has a google pagerank of zero which is disasterous for search engine placements. I heard somewhere that DNN sites can have difficulties obtaining pagerank depending on which modules are used.  Is this true? I do have several pagerank 4 websites linking to my site, and I have no outbound links, so technically my site should at least have a pagerank of 1.

Can anyone give me any tips on where I can find help to get my site to perform better in Google and increase pagerank? I use the catalook store module for my webshop but I haven´t heard that should have any negative impact. Are there any modules or services designed especially for DNN sites to help with search engine optimization (SEO) and increasing google pagerank?

I am grateful for any tips of advice from other DNN users and experts.

Thanks in advance!

Rolf Forslund

Well, I see that you are not taking advantage of the title tags... your home page says:

<title>
VITAMINBUTIKEN KENKOU > Till Nätbutiken ( DNN 4.4.1 )
</title>

There is A LOT that you can do to improve from where you are now. Check out Tom's blog over at Seablick.com

Particularly, pay attention to what he says about title tags, sitemaps, and robots.txt.

Also, try the Website Grader at Hubspot: http://www.hubspot.com/Products/Internet-Marketing-SEO/tabid/12151/Default.aspx

it will give you specific insights into improvements you can make to your site for better marketability and SEO.
