I need to create a training program to improve existing training (w/o adding a large amount of info).  The training program shall incldue WBT & CBT (web-based & computer-based training) for Basic & Advanced users, as well as, Custom users.

I need to start bulding a skeleton of the new training & place it onto the existing website (which is a DNN Portal).  I, myself, will not performing the integration.  I need to show how the user will be able to choose b/tw the different trainings modules ...

In going thru the DNN Guided Tour, How to Build a Website w/ DNN, it states to sign up with a Web Hoster who provides DNN hosting accounts ... Where does one sign up with  a Web Hoster???  Is there a list of Web Hosters who provides DNN hosting accounts I can review???  Is there a cost for signing up with a Web Hoster???

Thanks

Will Peters

Depending on what you're looking for with hosting, there are multiple options. It sounds to me like you're looking for a host that will provide a DNN install for you, without you having to configure the installation. If that's the case check out Godaddy.com and Webhost4life.com. The will provide you with DNN installations, though there is probably a cost associated with these. You can use those services, though you might have a difficult time upgrading the DNN version in the future, I know there have been issues in the past with using Godaddy for hosting and then not being able to upgrade, but those may have been resolved, I haven't checked lately.

Your other option, and probably a safer one, is to find a company who would assist you with what you're trying to accomplish. It sounds to me like you're not sure what you need to do with DNN to accomplish your objectives, if you have the budget, spending some money to work with someone who knows how to use DNN and has experience with an LMS would be well advised. My employer has heavy experience with both DNN and web based training, you can contact us at www.engagesoftware.net
