I'm using the 90D trial of visual studio.  I suppose that it came with SQL 2005 or express.  I've tried loading the framework into VS using file system and then moving on through the automated installation.  No success.  So I tried using the typical installation option, and at the screen that has you input your database information, I am unable to connect to the database.  I am clueless.  I have not worked with SQL server, and need some serious tutelage.  Do I need to setup the database for DNN, or is it created for me?  If I do need to set it up, how do I get started?

Thanks,

Joe

Joe,

On my site http://www.mitchelsellers.com I have a blog posting regarding the setup of DNN that walks though the DB setup and everything that might help you out.  The article is for a DNN 4.4.1 installation, but the process is the same for 4.5.1.
