So I just installed DNN 4.5.1 through metropolis on GoDaddy to try it out, and it was installed, but I am getting this error before even getting the chance to log in. Does anyone know what is wrong?

The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there, did you make an auto install?

I strongly suggest manual installation. This error may happen because of Database and Server Collation difference.

I wrote advanced tutorials for manually installing DotNetNuke 4.5.1 to Godaddy Root. You can also host multiple parent portals with existing domains if you install dnn to root directory.

Hi drummerskip,

Yes my tutorials will work for DNN 4.5.3 too. But you need to understand some new features that needs special permissions. I will cover up new version in a few days. I also emailed you about my status.
