Hello everybody

I have multi-language dnn 4.0.2 app.

Everything works fine except the fact that I don't know how to change the language of the portal main menu (e.g. the pages names which are set in the page settings availiable from the host).

Does anybody know how to do that?

you need to apply a 3rd party solution e.g. pageLocalization from Apollo Software or DslLocalizator from Locopon.

I would not bother purchasing anything from Apollo their support is not existant, run thru their forums and see how many times people ask th e same question and the answer is read the help file and the help fine is useless.

I paid the $16 for the module and most likely wont use it since I too cant figure out how this module is implemented.

Id anyone from APollo is reading this message! WAKE UP!

Hm, I had no issues installing the modules and modifying the skins of my portals, see for example www.deutschnetnuke.de.

Hi leupold, I have to use dnn:MENU (with spanish named pages) with a page saying "English" and they want me to let the same menu appear but translated into english, including the content - how can I do this using DNN 4.x only?

One other thing, I see your site language switch works well, but where can I find the documentation to see if I actually can use this control with the idea/requierement given above? (i.e., I cannot show a dropdown list like you do).

I have tried using a different template with a different dnn:MENU but it shows up as the same menu... how can I create different templates with different menus? If I can, then I could simply add the english pages to the second template. Hope you see my point.

TIA!!
