I've created a module in dnn v4.5.1 and need to have it work in v4.4.0.  Is there any way to get this module to work in an older version of dnn?

The error I get is... "The project references a prior version of DotNetNuke version 4.4.0.28454.  To use this module, you must replace the reference to DotNetNuke with version 4.5.1.29 or higher ."

thanks for any help...

always create the module with the oldest DNN version, you want to support. Newer versions will have features, previous versions do not support.

You can make the change mentioned above by downloading a olderversion and referencing it's DotNetNuke.dll file instead of the one for 4.5
