I am not able to install DotNetNukeThe Error i am getting is:

You are not authorized to view this page

You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

If you believe you should be able to view this directory or page, please try to contact the Web site by using any e-mail address or phone number that may be listed on the localhost home page.

I usually get this error when I have not made sure that the web application/virtual directory in IIS has anonymous access rights.  Depending on how you setup your application directory, this may or may not be the case, but that would be the first place I would start looking.

Try to be a little more specific.

Are you trying to install DNN on your local computer or on a remote host?

Which version are you trying to install?

Are you sure or unsure if the hosting environment meets the requirements to run DNN?

Have you followed the steps to install DNN from the documentation?

At what step do you receive the error message?
