It definately will not be in the January release. We have a code freeze scheduled for this Sunday (15th). It's *possible* it will be in the Februrary release, but more likely Bulk Uploads will be in the March release.

Are you planning to implement a way to upload large files (like 20mb movies) ?

Some people I know are using the Repository module to upload VERY huge file ( > 100MB ) with no issues.

Are you unable to upload large files? are you getting an error? The Repository support uploads of unlimited size, there are a number of items that restrict file size ( portal settings, asp.net httprequest settings, etc ) but the Repository module itself does not restrict file size in any way.

My initial suspicion is that you need to adjust the httpRuntime line in your web.config. By default it'll only allow files up to 8MB to be uploaded. Try bumping that line up to an amount that will suit you and you may have to add an executionTimeout="XXX" (the value is in seconds) to it as well. I can't remember the default timeout but it's somewhere around 90 seconds.
