I'm in the process of moving our company intranet to Dot Net Nuke.  I assume to just use the latest release, however I was curious if any of you had any thoughts on which version was best to use?

If you can point me to a link or just submit your comments that'd be great.

hi,
i've tried v. 4.4.0 and v. 4.4.1 but it has bugs, so i prefer dnn 4.3.7. i'm using it for my website.

I would only go with 4.5.1 for new installations.  It is running .NET 2.0 and has many features that are great improvements over previous versions.  AJAX support, better performance etc.

DNN 3.x is at the end of the lifecycle and will no longer be developed any further, which is another MAJOR reason to not start out on it.
