Ever since DNN 4.5.0, I've noticed ADMIN / HOST is missing in the links skin object when logged in... can I get them back?

Phazer, I am pretty sure the Links Skin object does not support the admin and host sections of the menu.  You will most likely need to use one of the other menu providers such as SolPart, DnnMenu, AspMenu wich are part of DNN, or House of Nuke menu.

Searching the forums from www.searchdotnetnuke.com could help you find a solution to what you want as well.

(Edit) Alternatively you could use John Mitchell's Simple Nav Menu which is free from Snapsis or Skincovered.  A donation is requested at Skincovered, and well worth it if you choose to.

LINKS skin object has ALWAYS showed Host / Admin at the end of the root menu until version 4.5.1

I want an official answer from DNN core team as to why this has changed, and I refuse to use Solpartmenu. it's terrible.

I shouldn't have to use 3rd party add-ons to get a feature that was available in 4.4 and previous
