I cannot load my skin file to my web hoster (file too big). I can FTP it to my site, but how is the install procedure then?

Thanks for helping me out!

To install the skin file you need to have the path to it for the install.  Some providers will have this in their control panel.  I curious how a skin file gets too big to install, especially if you can FTP the file.

If I'd paid attention to what you wanted and not what you asked, I'd have answered better.  :)

You can FTP the unzipped skin files directly into the appropriate folders under your portal.  Then choose to parse the skin.  If that doesn't work (I haven't ever tried) then you could upload a dummy skin with the same name, then upload the files over the dummy skin.

Thanks for your help, it worked perfectly.

My skin package is that big because within the zip packcage there are 12 other skins.

I've seen a few of the skins packaged with multiple skins, though most were rather small.  The other solution would be breaking these down into single skin files.  Such as DNN Blue and DNN Gray being separate skin files instead of combined.
