I have just installed DNN and want to load in members from a database I have.  I was going to generate an SQL script to do this with name and email address.  I was going to generate a password and shove it in to the password field.  What tables would I hit (template insert sql query would be nice) or is there a better way to do this?

Personally there isn't an "easy" way of doing this as the passwords are stored in an encrypted fashion and you can't recreate the passwords easily.  If you want to create a new user and set them all to default passwords that can be done as long as you have an existing account in the system with the desired password.

The tables that information is stored in are

aspnet_membership
aspnet_users
Users
UserPortals

I have a tutorial on my site that shows how to insert a superuser account to the system, the process for regular users is somwhat similar.  However you must also add records in the "userPortals" table as well. My site is at http://www.mitchelsellers.com

If you need some help with the scripts please feel free to e-mail me.
