Hi,

What advantages come with setting a modules type to Edit? What does DNN have to offer that makes it worth wild?

1) If you also use IActionable: Add Items to Your Module Menu (VB &C#) it can provide standard navigation for your module. Most portal administrator expect the edit control to provide module configuration options.

2) it switches to the Admin skin which usually makes it the only control visible. I use this a lot when I want the user to concentrate on the page. For example when entering payment information.
