I was wondering how easy (or if it even can) is to connect users to another DB using DNN?  For example, when a  DNN user logs in, I'd like to have another column in the users table called CustID that would I could use to pull information (service requests) from our service database into a DNN page.  The page would be a pretty standard list of service requests, and then clicking on the service call number would bring up another page with the call details.

All of the databases involved are SQL 2000.

I am in no way a .Net programmer, but have done some basic data driven web sites using frontpage and ASP, and I don't have a lot of time to spend just learning .Net.

you can create a query in the dnn database and access it using the reports module or use 3rd party modules like sqlgridselectedview from www.tressleworks.ca
