How do I set the color of the search box and text? I have tried the classess that I would have thought do it but it does not seem to change. I had it change after the upgrade to 4.5

Thanks

Try the .normalTextBox class

That seems be changing the color of the items in the box. I want the box and the word search a different color

You want to override a.SkinObject:link from the default.css.

a.SkinObject:link{
color: inherit;
}

Include that in your css and it will force it to inherit the property from what ever container you have the search link in.

Try this class to change the text input and background color of your input field:

#dnn_dnnSEARCH_txtSearch.NormalTextBox

{
color: #;

background: #;
}

It should work!
