hi guys,

i have a page, lets call it X, i want to put a link on X  that taks to user to another page Y. what is the best way to do it.

page Y might not be named Y in final instalation. in other workd i dont know the name of the page i want to redirect to. I know this page is going to be reated.

if you know the tabid of the page you can use the NavigateURL() method to build the link.  But if you do not know the name of the page, it is very hard to link it.

That's what my problem is i'm simply creating the module and i dont know what the id would be when the tab is created.

I can put restriction on the name of the page is there a way to get url using tab/page name.

What I have seen some people doing before, was to make a config setting that listed ALL pages in the site, and let the user select the proper tab.

If you know the page, you have the tabid and can use the NavigateURL method to redirect.
