DotNetNuke.Services.Cache.PurgeCache, DOTNETNUKE
Purging cache task failed.

I have gone through all the setting on my DNN install.  The service just will not run

I am on a shared hosting server, do not have access to ISS for recycle, which is set to default 24hrs.  How can i get the cache to purge successfully?

Is there any more detailed information regarding the error?  Prehaps in the Event Viewer?

These are the only events reflecting the failure, i was hoping it was going to be a simple setting.  LOL. Boy was i wrong.

ut seems to be either a caching issue or a problem with file permissions for the 'd:\hosting\shawnsspace\go\Portals\_default\Cache\ folder, please check.

OK the permissions for that dir, where default 0000 (Owner), (Group), (Public).  what should the permissions have installed at.  Also i am using Front page extensions with VWD express to edit the site & portal.
