I have gone thru Michael's tutorials and now I'm working on my first module that will actually do some work for me. All my data resides in a different database, so it's data access is not typical.  It has a single definition with a view control and an edit control. When the module loads it populates a gridview with titles of software. I made the Title Field into a hyperlink so I can navigate to the edit control. I need to pass the AppStatusID to the edit control so it can execute a parameterized stored procedure to populate a formview control, so I set NavigateUrl='<%# EditURL("AppStatusID",DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"AppStatusID")) %>'.  This however doesn't do the trick. It says "Databinding expressions are only supported on objects that have a DataBinding event". What am I doing wrong?

TIA <JP>
