I recently tried uploading a file to repository and received this error, the upload did not appear to complete and I received a Object couldnt not be referenced error. I am using dnn v4.5 and 3.09 release of repository (whichever one is most current that is). All help is appreciated.

Did you check the 'supports partial rendering' option for the module on the host->module definitions page to enable AJAX?
Check the Repository's Action Menu->About page to check  your Repository version, the latest is 3.01.10
Did you upload both a file and an image?
Are you using Categories?
Are you using Attributes?
Which template are you using?
Have you made any changes to the template you're using?
Was this a clean installation? or an upgrade from a previous version of the Repository?

Wow thank you for the prompt reply, sorry for the lack of information, as much as I love this stuff I still dont know whats needed to troubleshoot...

First off I am sorry but I cannot find the enable AJAX portion that you mention, logged in as host in the module defitions page I do not see this as an option anywhere.

Version 3.01.10 (i thought i had an older one)

Not using categories, the checkbox for all categories is checked all the time (using the filelist template)

Also not using attributes

Got rid of the moderate button per instructions on deleting it in the html file (maybe the xml file also)

Clean installation on top of a clean install of 4.5

This problem is actually one of the only ones with this eventviewer message, the others are I assume not related but I still dont know what the problem is...

Again thanks, here is a snippet of the other error that occurs with Wayyyyy more frequency

We have had mild success otherwise (varying filesizes)

Terribly sorry about my last post, I will clarify that I do NOT have the "Support Partial Rendering" checkbox marked. I misread in my haste. Thanks for any help again!

Well as an update, and sidenote, from researching the problem a bit further I found that uploading extremely large files is something dnn hates, I have maxed out at 220mb size anything larger then that throws a memoryexception error. (I have changed the appropriate #'s in web.config, including the filesize limits, also when making the number extremely large it throws another kind of error but thats for another day).

I did notice that the application pool service w3wp is right away hogging ram until it reaches around 290mb, before it was around 50-70 but that was when I used the option to cache to memory instead of disk. Changing this back has allowed my uploads to at least be consistant (the ones over 200megs even).

This is not just associated to repository as it happened with filemanager as well, I am wondering if this is something that is being looked at or has been resolved and I simply have yet to find it. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
