I have read the Settings' code and understand how to load and upload them. And I am going to store some values that I need for my module. So, I can use module setting to change their values when the site runs. However, I don't know how to retrieve their values when I am at other .ascx files such as View...ascx. I think DNN might support us some functions such as ModuleSettings( ... )... Or do I have to write a method to retrieve them using ASP.NET 2.0 by myself?

You can use soemthing like the following  (Sorry its in C#....I can't freehand VB.NET as good anymore...)

object mySetting = Settings["YourSettingName"];
if(mySetting != null)
{
    //You have the setting, you can convert it to whatever you need..

}

The VB Equivalent should be

Dim mySetting as Object = Settings("YourSettingName")
IF NOT mySetting IS NULL THEN

END IF

The VB one mgiht bit a bit off (I'm not in front of VS rigiht now.).  This works from any module that uses the PortalModuleBase class as a its base.
