I set up Windows Authentication in my DNN (v04.05.01)  yesterday. When I go to my portal it does show me as logged in without me having to log in to DNN. However, it doesn't seem as if the synchronization part is working. I have a login in DNN and I have Administrative rights. When I am logged in through Windows Authentication it does not show me the Control Panel at the top of the screen nor does it show me the Admin menu or pencils next to all things to edit. In my Web.config, I have <add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Authentication" /> uncommented but the impersonate part is still commented out. Am I doing something wrong? What am I missing? Thanks.

Lara can you check the database. My guess, based on how I understand your post, is that you made your account an admin before you activated Authentication. What you'll probably see when you look at the database is a Lara account that has admin rights and a Domain\Lara account that doesn't. With Authentication you'll need to make the Domain\Lara account an admin.

Thanks Mike!  That was exactly it. Once I made Domain\Lara an admin it worked properly.
