This is an odd issue when upgrading from 4.4 to 4.5...

I have a horizontal menu using the core menu. On mouse over of top level items with no sub-menus, the layout is fine, but when the navigation has a sub-menu, there is a 1px line at the top of the page that is added. This only happens in IE (6 and 7).

What is even odder is that the sub-menu itself is NOT shifted down the 1px so it does not align correctly. This is driving my client crazy because the layout appears broken. FireFox 2 is not affected and like I said, it worked fine in 4.4

I did find that the the file /controls/SolpartMenu/spmenu.js has been updated in 4.5 and those updates cause another issue in IE - when there are a lot of horizontal menu items that cause the screen to have to scroll left and right, the sub-menu aligns in a fixed position, regardless of the scroll position of the screen. I copied the spmenu.js for 4.4 and it took care of that issue but the 1px issue remains.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

well I figured this out...it was an issue withthe pagemaster class of the skin. There was a marking-top: -1px and when I set it back to 0px it worked fine.
