Okay i understand html templates for the most part - now for something a little tricky - i want to pull out info that was intered via fck so it is html encoded - is there anyway i can tell the report module to apply html decode to it ?

Unfortunately that feature isn't available in the current version, but it is planned: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=5494. I have bumped up the priority on that issue and will do my best to make sure it gets into the next release.

Okay - next question is there a way to have subreports in a html template - for example i have a report about a user but part of the info comes form a table on loacations they are allowed to view - can i somehow create a token that runs and inserts another html template with a query in some part of the orignal html template

I realize thats pretty high end

That's a great idea, though I can't guarantee it will make the next release. I think if we implemented that it would have to be in a general way, so that other visualizers can take advantage of it, so I'd want to take some time to make sure its designed to accomodate that.

I've logged a feature request for it (RPT-5698) though, so it'll be on our list for a future release.

By the way, its really great to hear these feature requests, reporting is a field where each person has their own set of functionality that they really want so we need to know that in order to implement it :).
