eshafer  can you let us know how you solved the problem.. I have WH4L and I thinkinh to upgrade to the semi-dedicated server....

What is feeling about the semi-dedicated?
Did you improved your performance a lot?
Did you have before the 'regular' services from WH4L (cheapest) or you just jumpt to the semi-dedicate...

Thanks for your comments,

Alfonso

At this point WH4L has finally admitted that the application pool my sites are in is too active (not from my activity).  They have moved it to a new app pool.  I am hoping this will take care of the problem as we suspect the app pool has been running out of memory and recycling the app.

WH4L is pretty good about responding to your service tickets, but I have yet to see a significant performance improvement by moving to the semi-dedicated plan.  Right now the jury is still out and I am considering alternatives, but I don't want the hassle of moving all my sites again....
