Hi, I'm looking to install DNN as an internal Intranet solution for approx. 500 users, we intend to host it in house buying new boxes to host them on, can anybody give me an idea as to the Minimum Server Spec required for such an installation - Thanks

number of users is not the only variable that determines needs of your DNN - it depends on the services installed (modules) and intensity of usage. With DNN core and default modules as well as SQL express, any modern server with 2 GB RAM should be sufficient.

I don't know how intesive the users will utilize the server and/or what services you'll run but perhaps the MSSQL Server Express Edition insufficient (1 GB addressable RAM, 4 GB maximum database size, only one CPU)
