I'm developing a skin in which I do not want to use the Solpart Menu.  However, without it I cannot get to the Admin and Host menus.  Is there a way to put something into the skin to display just these two links?

Thanks

Well you can leave the solpart menu where it is and configure each page to be hidden.  Then all you other pages will not appear in the solpartmenu.  This way the only time that admin and host appear is for you when you login.  No other people will see these.

Hidden--i think just hides the page from the menu--i think

Thanks for the reply.

I don't actually want to include the Solpartmenu because it is quite a big and noisy control.  I was hoping to find a solution where i could avoid using the menu.

You have a number of Choices

The HouseMenu from House of Nuke

Or

make a note of the page links and add a module(s) with the links (check it so it appears on every page and is only visible to Admin/Host - this could be html/text or the links modules depending on your needs

Another alternative is to set up a page with the menu in the skin - then navigate to the page

Just a note - I'm not 100% sure about this but I think  the solpart menu is installed with DNN - unless you are going to take it out it wont really matter if you use it or not.
