I have access to my site via FTP and I can connect to the Database with SQL Manager, but the site itself will not open.

I am running DNN 4.5.1 and have been trying to add Google Adsense Search.  I've gone into the database and removed all reference to the module I placed Google Search into but the site will not open.

I get the waiting message in the status bar.

Any ideas on how to "reset" my site?

All suggestions accepted, there are no bad ideas.  Thanks.

Normally if a site is hanging, not responding, or just generally not being served up -- i would first try restarting the site.  You can do this by "touching" the web config (i generally just make a random change to the file in notepad, hit save, and then undo that change and hit save again).  This will force the app to take a fresh look at itself and its surroundings and it may forget about whatever it was hanging up on previously....

hope that helps,

Ian
