Is there anyway to have the galery support video, etc? Para 3 of   http://www.dotnetnuke.com/guidedtour/HelpGalleryConfigure.htm shows that video seems to be supported but when I hit the same config page on my install the field is empty and not editable.

BTW:  I'm hosted on GoDaddy in case that makes a differance.

I am having the same problem. When I go to add an mpg file, I get mpg not supported message. DNN version 4.5.1, gallery 4.01.00 from www.jegers.com. I went to the host settings section and added mpg, mov, etc file types to be uploadable. I saw in a previous post this fixed their video uploading problem, but not mine. I looked in the modulesettings sql table and saw that in galleries I had added before the upgrade there was an entry for MovieExtensions, but not an entry in this new gallery I added after upgrading. I tried just copying the files into the _source folder and they do not show up when I go into album maintenace and try to synchronize. I am able to do that with another new imagery gallery I created. Any clues?

You need to enable the mpeg/mpg/etc file extentions into your "host settings" (when logged in as host) to include the file extentions for media that you want to play (mpg, mpeg, avi, etc). Then when you go into the gallery it will show those file extentions as available for the media type.

Note: It seems that the gallery caches the values from the host settings, so you might need to "touch" your web.config file so that it gets the updates.

That worked. Thanks James.
