i was wondering why an "add new item" page is showed when i tried to search for something in the repository.

i used the repository search and not the global search function.

can anyone tells me how to resolves this issue.

That is not the normal behavior, and no one else has reported that behavior in the past.

Can you tell me what version of DotNetNuke are you running? and what version of the Repository? how did you install the Repository module ? as part of the DNN install package.. the Repository module that's bundled with the core release? or did you download a separate version and install it via the host->module setttings page?

i think i know what is the problem.

the way i search for an item using the repository search is:

1. i will type the keyword in the textbox

2. then i will press the "enter" key. (i did not click on the "go" button)

thus when i'm logged in as admin, once i press the "enter" key using the above steps, the upload item button is pressed.

i need to click on the "go" button and the search will be fine.
