Upgraded to 4..5.1 ... all appeared to go fine. No errors noted. However, Admin users cannot upload a file .... in Event Viewer I see this error:

Method: DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers
StackTrace:
Message: DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers() at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.PermissionsGrid.CreateChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.EnsureChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Page.FindControl(String id) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessPostData(NameValueCollection postData, Boolean fBeforeLoad) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Additionally, I can move from page 1 in Event Viewer to page 2 of records ... but if I try to change Portal or Records Per Page, I just get put back to "All" and "10" and am at the first page.

No errors are displayed regarding the event viewer. I have reviewed all the sql log files for this site and every single one of them is totally empty.

Help?!?!

This affects not only Admin user, but happens for Host as well. Cannot upload files to the site ... get the above error:

Method: DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers

Thanks for any pointers on this.

WRT Event Viewer - I cannot delete selected event messages; I cannot clear log through gui. No errors are logged when I try to use these controls; just does an apparent postback and stays the same.

This Event Viewer started clean and empty after the upgrade to 4.5.1, so all events logged are post-upgrade.

Magically, all now ok ... can upload files, no errors, and Event Viewer behaving as it should.

I'm just wondering when it's going to magically start being not ok again ... :)

No compression in this install ... stripped from web.config and set to 0 in hostsettings. No whitespace filter, either.

any ideas on what is going on here?
