DotNetNuke is a VB.NET project only.

Some modules are available in C# but the DNN core is VB.NET and as far as I know there is not any plan to make a C# version

to be honest, I don't see an advantage of a cs port - the result will be about the same binary while you can develop your modules for both frameworks in any .Net language.

Just to be sure: that is not an official DNN C# port, and AFAIK also a pretty old version (4.3.something i think).

I wonder why this question keeps popping up. As Sebastian says, whether you write in VB.NET or C#, code gets compiled to the same CLR... Also... I think we all agree that it is not good practice to modify the core at all (unless you have nothing better to do with your time, and want to keep upgrading your app by hand every time a new dnn version is released)
